WhatHouse? launches photo competition to find Sussex’s favourite piece of architecture

The WhatHouse? Show is coming to Brighton for the first time on 27 and 28 September and will provide an opportunity for property buyers to meet a range of companies promoting everything from new build homes to specialist retirement apartments.

Young man with cameraTo celebrate its inaugural show at the seafront Hilton Metropole, WhatHouse? is holding a competition inviting snap-happy locals to send in photographs of their favourite piece of architecture in Sussex in order to be in with a chance to win a fabulous prize of a seven-night stay in Lagos in a brand new two-bedroom apartment furnished to an exceptionally high standard.

The prize also includes return flights, airport transfers, a boat trip to explore the beautiful Algarve coastline and a meal for two in a great local restaurant. The prize has been kindly donated by Ideal Homes Portugal. (

Entrants can submit one photograph each by going to before 26 September 2014, and the winner will be picked on Saturday 27th at the event.

So whether it is the splendor of the Royal Pavilion, the Georgian squares and crescents stretching along the seafront, the modernist De La Warr Pavilion or University of Sussex buildings, make sure you enter and attend the WhatHouse? show on Saturday afternoon, where the winner will be chosen out of a shortlist of ten between 3.00pm and 5.00pm.

Prize: Includes 7 nights in Lagos staying in a two-bedroom apartment. This brand new property is furnished to an exceptionally high spec with a particular focus on luxury and comfort.   • The photo must be taken by the entrant and not be plaigarised.
